This policy explains how ScriptAccess uses cookies and similar technologies, including the choices available to you.
ScriptAccess uses necessary storage to remember your cookie choices. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand website use and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve advertising.
You can choose analytics and marketing separately. Declining either does not prevent you from using ScriptAccess or buying an evaluation.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, scripts and tracking pixels that store or access information on your device. This policy covers those technologies when used by ScriptAccess.
Your choices
The cookie panel lets you make separate choices for optional analytics and marketing. Google Analytics loads only if you allow analytics. The Meta Pixel loads only if you allow marketing. Necessary storage for your choices does not require either option.
If you previously accepted analytics, we may preserve that choice, but we ask you separately before activating the Meta Pixel. We do not treat an earlier analytics choice as marketing permission.
Necessary consent storage
We save your separate analytics and marketing preferences in your browser using the local-storage key scriptaccess_cookie_choices_v2. An older preference may be read from scriptaccess_cookie_consent when updating your choices. The new setting remains until you change it or clear your browser data. It helps us remember and respect your choices across visits.
Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the site. It may collect page views, approximate location, device and browser details, referral information and interaction events. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, screenplay contents or payment-card details to Google Analytics.

Browser settings and provider updates can affect which cookies appear and how long they last.
Meta Pixel and advertising
If you allow marketing, the Meta Pixel sends a PageView event to Meta when you view pages of this website. We use this to measure advertising and understand visits from our ads. Meta may use the information for its own advertising purposes under its policies, including linking activity with a Meta account where possible. The Pixel does not load if you decline marketing.
The Pixel may set _fbp to identify browsers and may use _fbc when a visit follows a Meta ad link. These identifiers can persist for up to around three months, subject to browser settings and Meta changes. We currently send PageView events; this installation does not send a purchase event.
We do not intentionally send screenplay text, names, email addresses or payment-card details through the Pixel. Page addresses and technical information can nevertheless be part of Pixel events.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookies button at the bottom-left of any page to reopen your choices. You can change analytics and marketing separately at any time. If you switch off an option after allowing it, the website reloads to stop that script and attempts to remove its cookies from the ScriptAccess domain. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser. Clearing your preference means we will ask you again on a later visit.
Withdrawal stops future use on this website; it cannot recall information already sent to a provider. You can manage information held by those providers through their own privacy controls.
Payments and service providers
ScriptAccess uses Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and submission storage, Stripe for payments and Resend for service emails. Necessary technologies may be used when you request these functions, including payment security and fraud prevention. Providers may apply their own policies when you use their services.
Browser controls
Your browser may allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage. These controls are separate from our cookie panel. Blocking storage needed for a requested service may affect how it works.
Personal information and providers
Cookie identifiers and website activity may be personal information. Read our Privacy Policy for information on your rights. You can also read the Google Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our website, providers or practices change. We will ask for consent before adding a new optional tracking purpose. Questions about cookies can be sent to info@scriptaccess.co.uk.
